Florence Partridge (MAC'1926) was the Assistant Librarian of Massey Library, 1932-1944; Chief Librarian of Massey Library, 1944-1962; Chief Librarian of Federated Colleges, 1962-1964; Associate Librarian of McLaughlin Library, 1965-1969 and Chief Librarian of McLaughlin Library, from 1970-1971. She retired in 1971, and died on Feb. 21, 2004. Room 384 located on 3rd floor was the former Group Viewing Room.
